Content Notes
Chapter One should never be where you find out. So here is everything, for every book, in one place you can bookmark or screenshot or send to a friend who wants to know before they start.
These are written to be useful rather than tidy, which means some of them give things away. That is the price of being specific and I would rather pay it. Where a note would cost you a genuine surprise, I say so before it does.
The one promise that covers everything I write: No animal is harmed. Ever. Not on the page, not in backstory, not offscreen, not implied. That one has no expiry date and it is not up for renegotiation in Book Six.
Everything else below is scoped to the book it sits under, because a promise you cannot keep for seven books is not a promise, it is marketing.
No One Skates Out Alive
Dark romantic suspense · Novel · October 30, 2026
This book is a dark romantic suspense. The romance is between two consenting adults and stays that way from the first page to the last. The danger in this story is real, and it does not come from the man who loves her.
On the page: Murder, and a body described in detail. Blunt-force injury and a staged crime scene. Arson and a building fire. Financial predation, coercion, and a wrongful arrest. Six years of non-consensual surveillance by a love interest, including watched public appearances, kept records of the heroine’s addresses, and a GPS tracker placed without her knowledge. This behaviour is named, confronted, and answered for on the page. It is never framed as harmless.
Explicit sexual content throughout, no fade to black, including mask play, a consensual chase, and consensual restraint with an established safeword. Every intimate scene is negotiated out loud.
Also present: Grief. A career-ending sports injury and hospital scenes. Abandonment during a medical crisis. Brief on-page violence. Police procedure. A great deal of profanity.
Not present in this book: Sexual assault of any kind, on the page or in backstory. Cheating.
The dog makes it. So does the roof over turn three, barely.
Nobody Gets Out Clean
Dark romance · Novella · Free, and set three years before Book One
In this book: Stalking, and repeated unwanted intrusion into a woman’s workplace and the private corners of it. An extended pursuit in the dark. A serious injury to a secondary character, not graphically described, and the aftermath of it. Explicit on-page intimacy between consenting adults, negotiated out loud. Consensual fear play inside stated rules. Money trouble, as the thing that keeps a person somewhere she should not be.
Not in this book: Sexual assault of any kind, on the page or in the backstory. Cheating. Any deaths.
Every sexual encounter in these pages is between consenting adults and is negotiated on the page, out loud, in words, every time the shape of it changes.
The hero is unsettling on purpose. He is never a danger to her.
That last line lives at the back of the book itself rather than the front, because at the front it answers a question you are supposed to get to sit inside for a while.
Obsession without assault
Dark romance is not one shelf. It is two, standing very close together, and the labels have fallen off. Some of it is about a man who is dangerous to the woman he wants. Mine is not.
In my books the danger and the devotion are two different people. The love interest is obsessive, alarming to everyone except her, and answerable for what he has done. The actual threat is somewhere else in the building.
If that distinction matters to you, it matters to me too, and this page is how I say so without making you buy the book to find out.
Notes for each book go up here as it releases. If something you need is missing, ask me and I will add it.
