Holiday Slay
Holiday Slay
Seven holidays. Seven bodies. One roller derby league that refuses to fold.
The Austin Knockout Roller Derby league runs out of a converted warehouse with a leaking roof, a taco truck, and a mascot nobody suspects. Every holiday hands them a new reason to decorate. Every decoration seems to come with a body, a secret, or a person somebody swore they'd never fall for.
Each book solves its own murder and closes its own love story, and leaves one thread for the next. They are meant to be read in order, and the league carries through all seven.
Obsession without assault. Dark romance where the danger and the devotion are two different people. Everything on the page, negotiated out loud, between two consenting adults.

No One Skates Out Alive
He never called. He never knocked. He never once stopped watching.
Marlo Bishop's Halloween fundraiser is supposed to save her roller derby league. Then a real body turns up among the props, and the detective who answers the call is the man who disappeared from her life six years ago.
The rest of the league
Checking It Twice
The lights go up, the tinsel goes on, and a forensic auditor with a festive tie takes far too much interest in the league's books, and in one particular captain who does not have time for a grim man with a spreadsheet and a smile that never reaches his eyes. Forced proximity. Very cold building. Very warm ending.

New Year's Eve · Valentine's Day · St Patrick's Day · Easter · Pride
Every one of them is somebody in that league finally getting cornered by a person they swore they'd never fall for. Rivals. Teammates. The medic who is supposed to stay professional.
I know who. I'm not telling.

Dark Romance With Consequences
People cross lines. The story knows it and makes them answer for it. The on-page heat belongs to consenting adults who say what they want.
