The Story

Heat level: Scorching. Two fully on-page scenes (Ch. 18 and Ch. 26) — both Julian's, both consensual, both about her reclaiming what was taken.
Before You Go InDark romance. Part of that darkness is a captivity that's never eroticized. Fiona's chapters with Miles are filtered through dissociation — a violation, not a seduction, and the book never asks you to read it as anything else. The intimacy, and the explicit content, belongs entirely to Julian.
